Independence Day Celebration

Join us as we celebrate the 4th of July with patriotic pride. The McHenry Mansion will be adorned in red, white, and blue, offering a perfect backdrop for this festive day. From 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM, the mansion will be open for self-guided tours before and after the parade.
Enjoy delicious food at our Foundation’s booth on 15th Street. The menu features hot dogs, sodas, coffee, donuts, ice cream, and more. All proceeds help preserve McHenry Mansion for future generations.

Spooktacular

The City of Modesto’s McHenry Mansion and the Stanislaus County Library’s special Halloween event! Enjoy spooky story times, sing-alongs, activities and,the holiday favorite trick-or-treating! This is a free event, open to children ages 2-17 and their families. Candy, crafts and giveaways available while supplies last.

McHenry Mansion Christmas Tea

Embrace the holiday spirit at our elegant Christmas Tea, held on the first Tuesday of December. With two schedules available—11:30 AM and 2:00 PM—guests will enjoy a charming tea service in a beautifully decorated Victorian atmosphere. Seating is limited, so make reservations early by calling our Gift Store/Visitor Center.

Tours by Candlelight

Experience the warmth and wonder of Christmas at McHenry Mansion’s enchanting Tours by Candlelight. Walk through the Mansion illuminated by soft candlelight and adorned in its holiday splendor. Tours begin at 5:30 PM, with the last entrance at 7:30 PM.
